Heart shaped rocks, you say? What is psychic about THAT? Well, in fact it is in my experience a psychic phenomena for me. Let me explain... many years ago, perhaps 20 years or more, I once found a heart-shaped rock. It was well-defined and definitely shaped like a heart. I picked it up and kept it and it was one of my most precious possessions because it could not be purchased anywhere. It was totally unique and unusual, which I loved.
Part of my collection |
Then I took a job at Hala Ranch about 4 years ago. They had rather large rocks laid in on all the walkways around the barn and in going back and forth with the horses I found hundreds - yes, hundreds of heart-shaped rocks. You might think this is impossible, or that I am stretching the truth. No. I have shown my collection to those who visited the barn and initially they too were skeptical, but there they were, piles of heart-shaped rocks! Our farrier, Tom, thought I was a crack-pot at first. He thought my heart-shaped rocks were...kinda silly. Tom is a man's man, you see. Then one day at this ranch which is high up in mountains, the deep winter snow began to melt and caused quite a bit of flooding on his place. He said that huge rocks were actually floating on to his front yard. He said to me, "And Cari, wouldn't you know, this huge rock lands on my front lawn and I'll be damned if it wasn't shaped like a HEART!"
A small part of my collection |
I also found them while on vacation and at home and other places there are rocks. Sometimes I forget to look, because you must look in order to find them. And sometimes it's good to take a rest from looking. I left part of my collection at the ranch and I don't know what will happen to them, but that's OK. It's good to let go sometimes and return what we have been given. The joy comes in finding them in the first place. For me they symbolize several things: love and wishing things in to your life and creating the impossible.
For me the heart-shaped rocks are something I brought into my life. I created them somehow (not literally) but in my mind. My desire to find them put them where I would find them. It proved to me that you can bring things into your life that you want to be there. I am also sure that we are destined not to get everything we have asked for, but many things we can influence. Of course you must wonder why I didn't wish other things in to my life, like oh, money? Or a dream job? Actually, that would be a good topic for another blog. I did get my dream job, and the man I desired, and a small quantity of money so far. I have gotten many things I wanted, they just didn't turn out quite like I thought they should. Our lessons to be learned in this life are more important than getting what you want. The things you "want" are attached to problems that you must resolve, unless it is something like a heart-shaped rock. God says, "oh of course you can have a heart-shaped rock, Cari. No charge!"
One of my favorite heart-shaped rocks |
Addendum: I wrote this a few months ago and had never posted it. In the meantime, my good friend
Leigh Ann came to visit from and mentioned to me that she has a collection of all things, heart shaped rocks! What a wonderful moment - sometimes the universe or God or the powers that be show us why our friends are our friends... Here is a photo of her collection:

I see heart's everywhere I go. The strange thing is I don't even try I just look at them and say thank you. I have recently found three perfect heart shaped rocks in one one all in different locations. The first 2 I found in the same week but for some reason I knew I was supposed to find a third. About 3 weeks after finding the first 2 rocks I found my third heart rock.

I also have a very special heart rock which was gifted to me by the desert in Sedona. I was there due to “heart issues” aka relationship triangle. I was trying to figure out what to do and the rock has a small groove in it which to me was representitive of a broken heart. It is quite an amazing stone; it is red rock and when I hold it in my hand for a bit it begins to sparkle! One of the most amazing things about it is I was working in a male maximum security prison at the time in NY. When I came back with my rock I was led to bring it to group and just have every inmate in the group hold it for a few minutes and lo and behold they ALL did it without a word!! It was an amazing experience and group that day was intense! I love my heart rock and I have found others since but this one is very special!

I started collecting heart shaped rocks when I was pregnant with my son over 7 years ago. When he was born they said he had a small heart murmur at 13 days old he had to have open heart surgery. While I was pregnant I spent many days sitting in my driveway just looking and finding heart shaped rocks He is 7 now. I work at a pumpkin patch in north Mississippi and last year there was a local baby only born with half a heart so during the pumpkin patch I donated my heart rocks anyone who gave a donation got to keep a heart rock well this year is a 3 year old in our town waiting on a heart transplant me and my daughter have painted and glittered so many of my rocks and we will be donating them again this year. I love that my collection gets to given for a good cause

I've been finding them like crazy over the last few weeks ..probably over a hundred all together. The kids and I decided to paint some and we have many more. I too wonder what this represents as I have completely transformed as a divorced mother and found my spiritual awakening. I feel it's a sign from God or heaven of love surrounding us.

I'm a rock collector as well as artifacts, I came across this threw looking at someone's post on Instagram, thought I'd read about it. I find heart shaped rocks all the time and often wandered if they represented something. Now I have an idea, thanks to all who shared. I'd love to post a photo of all the ones I've found. But not sure how to do it.

I thought that I was the only one that collected heart shaped rocks. I have been collecting for years and had a huge collection of over 100 different shapes and sizes. Two of my favorites were found at pebble beach it at the same spot! A perfect black and a perfect white fully polished from the waves. Sadly I lost my most of my collection in a bad breakup. But I have since continued to collect. My new favourites are my heart shaped lava rock and my milky quartz heart. Good luck finding the love hidden in the world

I have a very large collection of heart shaped rocks, everywhere I go I find them. One day my mother and I stopped at a gas station, remind you concrete no rocks, and as I stepped out of my vehicle on the ground was one heart shaped rock.. my most recent were brought to me by my mother and baby brother...hers was a hagstone heart and his was a heart that looked like the ones he use to draw me when we were younger... I've began giving them to people that are around me at the moment because some want to stay with me where others want to bring a smile to a person's face that are going to treasure them and remember the day they got it...I live in southeast Missouri and am so glad I found out why I'm so fortunate to find these precious stones and will continue to look down at my feet so I can spread the love
